In an effort to bring more awareness to this lack of literacy skills, Rotary Clubs in Broward, Miami-Dade, Monroe Counties and the Grand Bahamas planned a Rotary Read-a-thon to take place on the same day at the same time. Proceeds from the Read-a-thon will be donated to local literacy organizations.
